Welcome back, book besties! ACOTAR 6 is officially dropping next week, and the group chat is completely unhinged. To prepare for our return to Prythian, I sat down with Kirsty and Jess on the latest episode of Two Girls, One TBR to spiral into the wildest Maasverse theories we could find.

We are unpacking everything from Elain’s potential villain arc to the dangerous consequences of Rhysand and Feyre's death bargain. Plus, we are sharing some incredible indie romantasy shoutouts for when you inevitably need a cure for your ACOTAR book hangover. Grab your glass and let's get into it!

The Potion: The Sleeper Agent 🍹

You know we cannot start a deep theory session without a themed drink. This week we are sipping on The Sleeper Agent. It is a dark and deceptive cocktail that looks sweet but packs an absolute punch.

It looks like a sweet little blackberry drink... but once you swirl it, Azriel's shadows literally take over the glass. Cheers to the girls who look sweet but could absolutely destroy an entire court if pushed too far!

Ingredients:

• 2 oz Blackberry Liqueur

• 1.5 oz Tequila

• 4 oz Tonic Water

• A pinch of edible purple glitter

• Fresh blackberries for garnish

Instructions:

Drop your blackberries and edible glitter into the bottom of the glass. Add ice. Pour in the blackberry liqueur and tequila. Top with tonic water and swirl!

(Mocktail Swap: Omit the tequila and use extra blackberry syrup with the tonic water.)

Key Takeaways & Wildest Book Theories

If you want the full breakdown of our theories, you have to listen to the episode, but here are a few of the most unhinged predictions we are currently obsessing over:

• Elain Archeron is going morally gray: We are totally convinced Elain is poised for a major villain arc. Between her mysterious powers and her potential to hear Koschei’s heartbeat, she might just be the most dangerous sister.

• Gwyn’s mysterious heritage: Is Gwyn actually a descendant of Baron? Or could she even be Tamlin's daughter? Her origins are shady, and we think she is going to be a massive player in the upcoming court politics (and maybe even a throuple with Azriel).

• The dreaded death bargain: Rhysand and Feyre making that death bargain is going to be a massive liability in the coming conflicts, and we predict Cassian will be forced to choose between Rhysand and Nesta. We are already sobbing just thinking about it.

• Crescent City Crossovers: The connection between Crescent City and ACOTAR is deeper than we thought. We are looking at Bryce and Ruhn's possible sibling connection, Cassian as a secret Prince of Hell, and the very real possibility that Amren is the missing seventh Asteri.

• Koschei’s true identity: Could Koschei be Azriel’s mysterious father? We break down the clues hiding in plain sight.

Are you Team Villain Elain, or do you think she is going to save them all? Come let us know! You can listen to the full episode right now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or YouTube.
